Prep softball: Hermantown, Virginia swing to big comeback wins

Despite trailing early both the Hermantown and Virginia softball teams would rally Friday to pickup big comeback wins.

Hermantown came back from a 3-0 deficit after the third inning the tie Chisago Lakes 4-4 in the seventh inning at Rose Road Field. Then Avery Farrell would tally the game winning hit as the Hawks secured the 5-4 victory.

At Wade Fields Virginia would trail 2-0 after the first to Duluth Denfeld, but then the Blue Devils put up 12 unanswered runs to secure the 12-2 victory. This marked both programs final officially scheduled regular season games.
