Prep Soccer: Duluth East boys & girls top Denfeld in cross town clashes

In cross town clashes on Thursday both the Duluth East boy’s and girl’s soccer teams earned home wins over Duluth Denfeld.
The 10th ranked Greyhound boys held off the Hunters to win 3-2. David Wallerstein, Evan Tomczyk and Jackson DesCombaz each tallied goals for East, while Parker Chastey and Gus Haugen scored for Denfeld.
Following their match the girl’s kicked off. After a scoreless first half, Jamie Johnson and Chloe Schaefer scored for Duluth East to lift them to a 2-0 victory over the Hunters.
The Greyhound boys improve to 9-1-1 while the girls improve to 6-4 on the season.
