Prep Hockey: Hermantown boys still undefeated, CEC girls rally to down Duluth

In prep hockey on Tuesday, the Hermantown boys hockey team earned a shut out win to stay undefeated, while the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton (CEC) girls rallied from behind to down Duluth.
No. 1 Hermantown shut out Duluth Marshall 6-0 at the Hermantown Hockey Arena to stay undefeated and improve to 5-0 on the season. Wyatt Carlson led the way for the Hawks tallying two goals and an assist in the win. Duluth Marshall (1-5-1) senior goaltender Sam Anderson made 49 saves on the night.
At the Duluth Heritage Center the No. 16 CEC girls downed Duluth 2-1. The Northern Stars’ Bianca Lott scored first in the first period to lead 1-0, then Marina Dostal scored in the second and third periods to lift the Lumberjacks to victory.
