Prep Hockey: Grand Rapids boys, CEC & Hibbing/Chisholm girls earn road wins

In prep hockey on Tuesday, the Grand Rapids boys, and the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton and Hibbing/Chisholm girls picked up wins on the road.
The 10th ranked Grand Rapids boys earned a 7-0 shutout win over Superior. Leading the Thunderhawks was Garett Drotts who scored four goals helping them improve to 11-3.
In girls action, Number 10 Cloquet-Esko-Carlton downed Superior 4-1 on the road. Tenley Stewart scored first for the Lumberjacks while Autumn Copper scored the sole goal for the Spartans.
At the Evelelth-Hippodrome, the Hibbing/Chisholm girls downed Rock Ridge 3-1. Kaitlynn James scored the Wolverines’ sole goal.
