Prep girl’s hockey: Mirage, Lightning, and Hilltoppers skate to wins

Proctor/Hermantown Mirage and the Duluth Northern Stars faced off on Tuesday, each trying to rebound from recent losses.

Mirage got on the board first with a goal from Reese Heitzman. Followed by another goal from Katie Sandelin. As Proctor/Hermantown wins by the final of 7-1.

Grand Rapids/Greenway was at home hosting Rock Ridge. Lightning where up 5-0 before Molly Pierce would add another goal. Rock Ridge wouldn’t be shutout however as freshman Natalie Bergman got the Wolverines on the board. Grand Rapids/Greenway finished the game winning 7-1.

Finally on Tuesday the 12th ranked Hibbing/Chisolm Bluejackets visited the 8th ranked Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers. Both teams were searching for their third straight win. Danica Mark would open the scoring for Marshall in the first period. As the Hilltoppers skated to a 4-0 win.
