Prep girls hockey: Mirage & Lightning skate to road wins, Superior earns shutout victory

In prep girls hockey Tuesday Proctor/Hermantown, Grand Rapids/Greenway, and Superior all picked up wins.
No. 3 Proctor/Hermantown shut out No. 12 Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 3-0 on the road. Abby Pajari made 17 saves helping the Mirage improve to 6-4-1 on the season.
Visiting the Duluth Northern Stars, No. 16 Grand Rapids/Greenway rallied to win 5-1. Mercury Bischoff tallied a hat-trick for the Lightning who improved to 9-3.
Scoring early Superior picked up the 6-0 shutout win over International Falls at the Superior Ice Arena. The Spartans now sit 2-0 at home.
