Prep Basketball: Superior boys & girls earn wins, Duluth Marshall’s Timm tallies 1,000th point

In prep basketball action on Thursday both the Superior boys and girls earned wins, while Duluth Marshall’s Jasper Timm tallied his 1,000th career point.
The Superior girls downed Virginia 76-54 to improve to 12-1 on the season. Savannah Leopold led the Spartans with 20 points.
The Superior boys held off Duluth East 58-50 behind a 21 point performance from Evan Bennett. East’s Isaac Nyakundi also tallied 21 points.
Senior Jasper Timm joined the 1,000 points club helping the Duluth Marshall boys down Proctor 81-74 at home.
