Prep Basketball: Solon Springs boys stay perfect at home, Esko girls best Proctor

In prep basketball action on Monday, the Solon Springs boys protected their perfect home record while the Esko girls held off Proctor.

Solon Springs downed Drummoned 49-37 to improve to 8-2 this season and 5-0 at home. They’re back in action Thursday visiting Hurley at 7:15pm.

The Esko girls rallied to defeat Proctor 52-43 and improve to 8-5, while the Rails fell to 8-5. Jayden Karppinen led the Eskomos with 17 points while Hope Carlson led the Rails with 11 points.
