In prep basketball, the Hermantown girls earned a Section 7AAA quarterfinal win, while Duluth East and Chisholm boys picked up late regular season wins.
Hermantown downed Duluth Denfeld 61-16 to advance to the 7AAA semifinals. They’ll visit Cloquet on Friday.
In a cross town clash, Duluth East held off the Denfeld boys 61-51 with 22 points from Greyhounds’ Jobe Juenemann. On the road Chisholm picked up a 72-49 win over Cromwell-Wright.
