Prep basketball: Esko, Proctor girls & Duluth Marshall, Cherry boys pickup wins

The Duluth Marshall girl’s basketball team was down in Esko for the first time since winning the Section 7AA tittle last season.

Esko would have a 3028 lead at halftime and continue the pressure in the second, winning by the final of 54-49.

Proctor was also in action hunting for their sixth straight win hosting Cherry. The Rails would use a clean passing game to win 76-48.

On the boy’s side of the court Cherry was taking a three game hot streak out to Carlton.

The Asuma family of Isaac, Noah, and Isaiah would score the first 21 points for the Tigers, as they beat Carlton 95-42.

Nashwauk Keewatin was also closing out road play on Thursday night against Duluth Marshall.

The Hilltoppers would collect their third straight win however 85-59.
