Two Harbors celebrated six seniors who signed their National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers on Thursday.

One of those Agates included Clark Nelson who put his pen to paper to play football for North Dakota State College of Science. It’s a move he says the Two Harbors coaching staff readied him for.

"They help you when you need help and they guide you down the path that you should be down," Clark said. "They’ll do anything. It’s a connection past athletics, obviously athletics is what it’s based upon, but it’s a connection past that and it’s awesome."

Nelson plans to pursue plumbing and HVAC.

He was joined by three football teammates at the signing ceremony. Caleb Waldren committed to Rochester Community and Technical College, Alec Churness is heading to Southwest Minnesota State University, and Jacob Marxhausen signed with Dakota Wesleyan University all to play football.

Additionally Meagan Bergerson committed to play soccer at the University of Wisconsin-Superior and Makenna Jordahl
signed with the University of Minnesota Duluth cheer team.
