One juvenile arrested after shots fired incident outside Bemidji apartment

The Bemidji Police Department arrested a 17-year-old female in connection to a shots fired incident outside an apartment Saturday. They have identified two other 17-year-old male suspects.

Officers responded to 2800 Ridgeway Avenue NW shortly after 7:00pm for a report of multiple gunshots fired outside the building.

When they arrived, officers spoke to a 47-year old man who said he was exiting the building and was allegedly shot at.

Multiple other witnesses outside were able to take cover.

Witnesses described the shooter as a juvenile male, driving a white Chevrolet sedan south on Ridgeway Avenue.

Police located the white Chevrolet sedan a short time later and detained a 17-year-old female driver. She was arrested for allegedly aiding an offender.

After speaking to her and witnesses, police also identified two 17-year old male suspects.
