Northwestern, Superior boys hoops fall in regional finals

On Monday the Superior, Northwestern, and Northwood boys basketball teams fell in their Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) regional finals.
In Division 1, No. 6 Superior fell to No. 3 Appleton East 64-60 to finish their season 17-9.
In Division 3, No. 2 Northwestern fell at home to No. 3 Baldwin-Woodville 83-72 ending a 19 game win streak. The Tigers close out their season 22-4.
In Division 5, No. 1 Hurley bested No. 5 Northwood 62-46. The Evergreens finish 16-10 while the Northstars (22-4) advance to face Prentice in the Sectionals on Thursday at Superior.
