No. 5 UMD women’s hockey skates St. Cloud to tie, falls in shootout

On Tuesday the No. 5 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey team skated St. Cloud State University (SCSU) to a tie 1-1 in St. Cloud.

The Huskies however would win the shootout to earn the extra Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) point.

Anneke Linser scored her third goal in three games for UMD in the second period. In net Jojo Chobak tallied 20 saves for the Bulldogs.

UMD (20-9-1) will host St. Cloud for their final regular season series Friday and Saturday at 3:01pm at AMSOIL Arena.
