The No. 5 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team was at home Friday night, taking on the No. 11 Denver Pioneers.

Ryan Fanti was back in goal for UMD after coming off of Covid-19 protocols.

However the Bulldogs couldn’t use his return to their advantage, as they would drop the first game of the weekend losing 5-0.

The team will look to bounce back Saturday against Denver at 7:07 p.m.
