No. 1 UMD mens hockey falls in series opener to Northern Michigan

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team was on the road Friday taking on Northern Michigan University.

Senior goalie Ben Patt was in between the pipes for his first start of the season, collecting 30 saves in the 5-4 loss.

Dominic James led the way offensively however for UMD tallying three assist.

The Bulldogs will be back in action on Saturday for the rematch against the Wildcats at 5:37 p.m.
