New mural being created for Life House "Imaginarium" building

A new mural is being painted at the new Life House “Imaginarium” building in Duluth.

The Duluth Street Art Initiative is teaming up with artist Mana Bear Bolton on the artwork.

Bolton said that the mural will feature a bridge representative of the Blatnik Bridge which she said symbolizes the unity between the communities of Duluth and Superior.

Mana Bear also said there will be an all black portion of the mural where young people are encouraged to come and add their own art; something in line with the “Imaginarium’s” mission

“They’re going to be doing all sort of youth activities inside,” explained Mana Bear. “I’m pretty sure they’re having a production studio. I know that there is yoga going on in there and I know that there’s places people can go and educate themselves. It’s really cool to have something like this actually getting attention.”
