More road closures in Lincoln Park

More closures begin in the Twin Ports Interchange Project.
Motorists will encounter dual intersection closures starting Monday, August 16. The intersections of 22nd Avenue West and West Michigan Street, and 22nd Avenue West and West Superior Street are no longer open. Traffic is detoured to West First Street and West Third Street.
The intersection of West Superior Street and 22nd Avenue West will reopen in mid-September. Work on the new Coffee Creek Culvert has been temporarily halted for about the next two weeks, allowing for utility work at the Michigan Street intersection to progress.
Michigan Street between 21st Avenue West and 23rd Avenue West will open Friday, August 20. During the weeklong closure, crews will finish needed utility work to Michigan Street as part of the Coffee Creek relocation. Once reopen, Michigan Street will be open from 21st Avenue West to 27th Avenue West.
