Minnesota United edges Portland 2-1, Gasper scores

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) – Chase Gasper scored once and Minnesota United earned a 2-1 win over the Portland Timbers.

Robin Lod also tallied a goal in the Loons’ win.

Minnesota United FC improved to 6-5-3 after the victory, and Portland fell to 6-7-1.

The United are back in action Wednesday visiting Los Angeles FC. Kickoff is set for 9:30pm.
