Minnesota State Fair prepares to open its doors

Gates to the Minnesota State Fair open Thursday morning at 6 a.m.and opening day comes with some perks for those braving the crowds.
Visitors wwill find reduced admission prices at the gates for both adults and kids. As well as deals on merchandise, food and other specials.
There is no mask or vaccine mandate in place, although masks will be required for some indoor locations.
The Minnesota Department of Health is offering free vaccine shots on the grounds for those looking to roll up their sleeves.
