Kneepkens named PAC-12 Freshman of the Week, again

On Monday former Duluth Marshall star Gianna Kneepkens once again earned Pacific-12 Conference (Pac-12) weekly honors.

The guard was named Freshman of the Week for the second time in her collegiate career marking the 17th all-time honor for the University of Utah women’s basketball team.

She led the Utes in scoring for the third time this season putting up 19 points in a career high 31 minutes. The Duluth native has scored in double figures in six of their last 11 games helping the team sit 8-3 overall on the season.

Kneepkens earned her first honor on Dec. 6.
