Kalin steps down as Superior hockey head coach

It was announced Wednesday that Superior boy’s hockey head coach Jason Kalin will be stepping down.

In his 21-years as head coach Kalin has led the team to three Wisconsin State Championships, and appeared in the title game a total of seven times.

Kalin said that there is no clear cut reason to walk away from the team, but he stated the year round nature of a head coach was becoming a little to much.
