Huskies best Bismarck in extras to end high scoring nail-biter

The Duluth Huskies got the best of the Bismarck Larks in the 11th inning late Thursday night to split their Northwoods League second half opening series at Wade Stadium.

Tied at 11 in the bottom of the 11th Bobby Blandford would get walked bringing JD Rogers home to secure the 12-11 victory.

Blandford tallied four RBI, one hit and one run, while Rogers added two RBI, two hits and four runs in the Huskies’ win.

Duluth will remain at home for the next four days. Friday they’ll open a two game series against the La Crosse Loggers at 6:35pm.
