A former Hurricane is returning to his old stomping grounds as Noah LeBlanc has been hired as the new Hayward football coach.

LeBlanc played for four years with the Hurricanes before graduating in 2016. In 2015, he helped the ‘Canes win the Heart O’ North Conference championship.

The offensive lineman went on to play football at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) for four years. He was a starter for two seasons and a team captain during his time as a Bulldog.

Last season he served as an assistant coach for Hayward.
