The Duluth Greater Downtown Council kicked off their summer series of Happy Hour Markets Tuesday.

The markets, which will run through the summer, will be held at local breweries and feature several local vendors selling handmade jewelry, wooden and glass art, birdhouses, local flowers and more.

“It’s a great way for us to be able to encourage people to support local; support drinking locally, eating locally and shopping locally!” explained Greater Downtown Council President Kristi Stokes.

The markets will be held every Tuesday through the summer from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

June markets will be held at Canal Park Brewing Company on their outdoor patio, July markets will take place at Hoops Brewing, and August markets will be indoors at the new Blacklist Brewing Company location on Superior Street.
