Greenway volleyball falls to Sauk Centre in Class AA quarterfinals

The Greenway volleyball team fell 3-1 to Sauk Centre Thursday in the Class AA Minnesota State High School quarterfinals at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

The Raiders dropped the first two sets 25-18 and 25-19, then rallied to take set three 25-19. Sauk Centre sealed the deal winning the fourth set 25-10.

Greenway was led by Bri Miller with 16 kills, Emma Markovich with 15 kills, and Lexi Hammer with 17 digs. Now 22-7 on the season the Raiders will face Cannon Falls in the first round of the consolation bracket Friday at 11am.
