Grand Rapids’ Jack Peart named to U.S. hockey camp roster

USA Hockey announced the addition of Grand Rapids, Minn. native Jack Peart to their U.S. Junior National Team camp preliminary roster on Sunday.

He joins University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey players Connor Kelley, Wyatt Kaiser, and Dominic James at the training camp.

Peart, a freshman at St. Cloud State University, is among 30 skaters on the preliminary roster for Team USA. 2021’s Mr. Hockey is one of 10 defenseman vying for a spot on the final 25 man roster that will skate at the World Juniors Championship.

The 2022 IIHF Championship will take place in Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta, from Dec. 26- Jan. 5, 2022.
