Grand Rapids, Greenway, South Ridge punch ticket to state

In Saturdays section 7AAA final Grand Rapids finished off a clean three set sweep against Cloquet.

Kamryn Klinefleter was lights out during the match, collecting a total of 13 kills. As this marks the Thumderhawks first trip to state in 5 years.

In section 7AA, Greenway prevailed over Proctor even after dropping the first set.

Lexi Hammer’s 40 set assist led the team to win the next 3 sets, marking the Raiders first trip since 2019.

In section 7A, South Ridge secured the 3-1 win over Northeast.

It will be the Panthers first trip in history to the state tournament.
