Grand Rapids’ Bill Kinnunen named to Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame

Grand Rapids head baseball coach Bill Kinnunen is being inducted into the Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Part of the class of 2021 he was among those honored at Target Field with the class of 2020 on Sunday.

Kinnunen has coached Thunderhawks baseball since 2001. Also the 2021 Section 7AAA Coach of the Year, he led the team to a second place finish in the state tournament.
