The Friday night lights are turning once again this week. So far they’ve been shining favorably on Esko as they enter the second half of their 2021 season riding a perfect 4-0 record.

"The defense is playing incredibly well," head coach Scott Arntson said. "They like to get after it. We have a bunch of kids that like to tackle and like to bring it and I think that helps."

Senior defensive end and offensive tackle Cole Engel said the team has, "been in the weight room for the last four years just wanting to come out like this, always dreamed of it and I’m glad that we have."

The Eskomos have been averaging around 42 points a game while holding their opponents to 14 points or less, including two shut out wins. They’ll work to protect their unblemished record hosting Two Harbors Friday night.
