Eveleth Hippodrome hits its 100th birthday

It’s not everyday a community icon turns 100, as just last week the Eveleth Hippodrome hit its 100th birthday and a celebration has been set.
The historic home of the former Eveleth Golden Bears was opened in 1922, and the Eveleth Community Foundation is hosting an event to celebrate the centennial.
The event will be held in the Eveleth Auditorium, January 15th, from 4-7 p.m.
There will be food for everyone, and even some Hippodrome photos and memorabilia for sale. The event is free of charge.
