Team Shuster has a lot of fans across the country. But plenty of them live here in the Northland.

And many woke up early to watch the 6:05am game against ROC, and came to the Duluth Curling Club to do so!

Sara Shuster organized the watch party at the DCC. She’s the wife of skip John Shuster, who is in his 5th Olympics.

"We wanted a nice place for family and friends to gather and cheer on the team. It’s certainly hard not being over there. But we are able to share with friends and family who have supported us during the past two decades of curling. It’s touching to share these moments with them, too, since it’s a side we have never seen before," she told us.

Team Shuster won their first game!
