Duluth East’s Grant Wodny swims to program’s first Class AA state titles

On Saturday Duluth East’s Grant Wodny claimed two Minnesota state swimming titles.
The junior place first in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:29.19, and finished the 200 yard freestyle with a winning time of 1:38.73.
The Greyhound also set two school records in both events, while handing the program their first Class AA state swim titles. According to state records, Wodny is the first Duluth area boys state victor since 1962.
