Duluth East swims past Grand Rapids, breaks 2 pools records

The Duluth East boys swim team broke two pool records while notching a win over Grand Rapids in their regular season home finale Thursday at Ordean East Middle School.

The Greyhounds defeated the Thunderhawks 116-69.

Grant Wodny broke the pool record in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:41.10. Additionally the Duluth East 200 yard medley relay team broke a pool record with a time of 1:42:50. Aiden Yung, Kai Braaten, Wodny, and Beau Giddings made up the team.
