Duluth East girls soccer shuts out Duluth Marshall in cross town clash

Scoring one goal in each half the Duluth East girl’s soccer team earned the 2-0 shutout victory over Duluth Marshall at home on Wednesday.

Chloe Schaefer scored first for the Greyhounds to lead 1-0 at halftime.

In net for the Hilltoppers Svea Gustafson Lindstrom tallied nine saves.

Duluth East improves to 7-5 as they head to Bemidji on Friday. Kickoff is set for 7pm. Duluth Marshall (2-9) is back in action Thursday visiting Cloquet-Carlton at 4:45pm.
