Destination Duluth celebrates photographers

Destination Duluth hosted their annual celebration of photographers Monday evening.

“We have over 200 photographers who’ve contributed to our page and literally these people bring in tens of tens of thousands of people [to Duluth],” explained Jerry Thorseon, the managing director of Destination Duluth. “People see these photos and say ‘Oh! I want to go to

Duluth. I want to go to the North Shore’”.

At the celebration, prizes were given out and the efforts of those who’ve helped build Destination Duluth’s online presence we’re recognized.

“There are some in this room who’s photos have been seen millions of times on Destination Duluth,” continued Thoreson.
