Despite early lead Huskies fall to Rochester to split series

Despite an early 3-0 lead the Duluth Huskies fell to the Rochester Honkers Monday to split their holiday weekend series.

The Huskies dropped their series finale 8-5 at Wade Stadium.

Cason Tollett and Ambren Voitik each tallied two RBI and one hit, while Charlie Rhee contributed three hits and one run for the Huskies.

The Duluth Huskies have closed out the first half of their season with a 12-22 record.

They’re back in action Tuesday opening up a home-and-home series against Eau Claire. First pitch is set for 6:35pm in Eau Claire.
