Denfeld softball secures regular season rivalry sweep over Duluth East

On Monday Duluth Denfeld softball picked up the rivalry road win over Duluth East to close out both of their regular seasons.
The Hunters picked up the 7-4 win earning the regular season sweep over the Greyhounds. Denfeld had defeated East at home May 7th 10-3.
Next Denfeld will open the first round of the Section 7AAA tournament as the seventh seed visiting second seeded Chisago Lakes Wednesday.
The seventh seed in Section 7AAAA Duluth East will open the playoffs Wednesday visiting second seeded Forest Lake at 7pm.
