Deer River basketball’s Ty Morrison commits to Grand View

Deer River boys basketball standout Ty Morrison is taking his talents to the collegiate courts.

The senior guard announced his commitment to play for the Grand View University men’s basketball team out of Des Moines, Iowa Tuesday on Twitter.

He currently leads the Warriors (2-1) averaging 19.3 points and 13 rebounds per game. Last season as a junior he averaged 22 points a game.
