CSS women’s hockey drops home finale to No. 6 Gustavus on power play goals

The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) women’s hockey team couldn’t hold off No. 6 Gustavus Adolphus College Thursday night, dropping their regular season home finale 3-2 in overtime.

All three goals scored by Gustavus came on power plays.

Courtney Bloemke scored first for the Saints to lead 1-0, and then in the second period Ashley Healy tied it 2-2 for CSS. Lori Huseby made 48 saves in net for the Saints.

CSS (11-8-2) finishes their regular season at Gustavus on Saturday.
