CSS women fall to Hamline in first match of 2022

In their first match of 2022 the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) women’s basketball team fell to Hamline University Wednesday in Duluth.

The Saints dropped the match 68-59 marking the two program’s first meeting since 1994. CSS was led by Miranda Broberg tallying 17 points, Karli Nixon scoring 14 points, and Liz Frase putting up 11 rebounds.

The Saints (0-9) return to action Saturday visiting Concordia College in Moorhead. Tip-off is set for 1pm.

Also on Wednesday, the CSS men suffered a loss to Hamline on the road falling 62-56.
