CSS men’s, UWS women’s hockey series canceled for Covid protocols

A College of St. Scholastica (CSS) men’s hockey series and University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) women’s hockey series set for this weekend has been canceled for Covid-19 protocols.

The CSS men were schedule to visit St. Mary’s University. Due to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) competition plan the Saint will suffer two forfeits, going down as 1-0 losses declared a no-contest towards the overall record per NCAA policy.

According to a release, if a rescheduled date can be agreed upon, at this time it would be deemed a non-conference contest.

The UWS women’s scheduled Friday and Saturday games against the College of St. Benedict have been cancelled due to Covid-19 protocols. Additionally their Sunday addition against Bethel University has been canceled.

They’re scheduled to return to action Tuesday at Hamline University at 7pm.
