CSS’ Kevin Ritsche resigns as head baseball coach

The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) announced on Friday that Kevin Ritsche has resigned as head coach of the baseball team.
Ritsche joined the program in August of 2019. In his first season, he led the Saints to a 4-1-1 start before the season was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This spring, CSS finished 20-9 as both Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) regular and postseason runners up.
Ritsche is a Superior native and CSS grad. A search to fill his position has begun.
