CSS football falls in MIAC debut

The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) football team hosted the Augsburg University Auggies Saturday afternoon.

It was the first time in 680 days that the CSS team last took to the field.

Todays match against Augsburg University was their season opener and first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) game.

An injury to freshman quarterback Giuliano Villalpando on the first play, allowed Byron Bishop to enter the game.

He had nine completions for 58 yards, as Augsburg takes this one 54-14.
