CSS football cancels season opener due to Covid protocols

On Friday he College of St. Scholastica (CSS) football team announced the cancellation of their season opener scheduled for Saturday.
They were set to host Sewane: the University of the South on Saturday afternoon.
According to a release by CSS the cancellation is due to Covid-19 protocols. A Sewannee release went on to say it’s due to positive coronavirus cases within the Saints’ program.
Per NCAA guidelines, the game will be considered a "no contest", and won’t be made up.
CSS will now open their season kicking off Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play hosting Augsburg University on September 25th.
