CSS baseball rallies to split home doubleheader with St. John’s

Despite dropping game one 8-2 the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) baseball team would rally to defeat St. John’s in game two 2-1 to split the home doubleheader series at Wade Stadium.

Jake Schelonka tallied an RBI, hit, and run in game, while Luke Schemenauer put up an RBI and a hit.

In game two both of the Saints runs game on wild pitches from a walk, with Zach Harding tallying the only hit of that match.

CSS now sits 7-11 overall and 2-4 in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play. Next they’re scheduled to visiting Concordia Moorhead for a MIAC doubleheader Thursday at 2:30pm and 5pm.
