Community Toy Drive happening through Sunday

If you are a family in need or would like to donate Christmas gifts to children for the holiday season, there is help out there this weekend.

The Community Toy Drive will be happening now through Saturday for donations. Christmas gifts will be available for pick up on Sunday at Shake It in Duluth.

The mission behind the event is to bring joy to as many families as possible in the northland. Seeing the smiles and joy on the faces of parents and children are just priceless.

Derek Medved, owner of Korner Store discusses this event as a way to bring as much joy as possible during the Christmas season. “The initiative is to bring Christmas to families in need. Around the holiday season, help out where we can. Some families are struggling in our community whether it is from covid, hard times we want to help out where we can.”

The toy distribution will be on Sunday from noon to 2 pm at Shake It, located at 5801 Grand Avenue in Duluth. Everyone is encouraged to stop by pick up gifts for Christmas.
