Cloquet’s Coach Lenarz earns 100th win & Two Harbors, Barnum advance in sections

Cloquet football head coach Tom Lenarz earned the 100th win of his career as they picked up a Section 7AAAA quarterfinal win Tuesday.
Fourth seeded Cloquet downed fifth seeded Duluth Denfeld 34-12 to advance to the semifinals. They’ll face top-seeded North Branch Saturday at 7pm.
Elsewhere in Minnesota section playoffs, third seeded Two Harbors downed sixth seeded Rock Ridge 46-14 to advance to the Section 7AAA semifinals. The Agates will visit second seeded Aitkin Saturday at 2pm.
In Section 7A third seeded Barnum picked up the 42-20 win over sixth seeded Mille Lacs. Barnum will visit second seeded North Woods in the semifinals Saturday at 2pm.
