Cloquet juvenile arrested after shots were fired
No one was struck by the bullets. Police determined that the perpetrator had fired more than ten handgun rounds.
Saturday night at around 11:15pm a police officer was flagged down by occupants of a vehicle claiming they were shot at.
The officer observed their vehicle and determined it had damage that was consistent with gunfire. This happened around Cloquet Avenue and 15th Street
Police say two juvenile males had flagged down an uninvolved adult female in her vehicle on Pinehurst Park Drive near Pinehurst Park.
They told the driver someone was shooting at them. After entering the car, the car was hit with bullets.
No one was struck by the bullets. Police determined that the perpetrator had fired more than ten handgun rounds.
Sunday authorities identified a juvenile suspect and took them into custody and the firearm was recovered.
Cloquet police say that the investigation remains ongoing.
