Cloquet, Floodwood volleyball earn regular season home finale sweeps

Both the Cloquet and Floodwood volleyball teams notched regular season home finale sweeps Monday night.

Cloquet shut out Duluth Denfeld 3-0, winning 25-14, 25-9, and 25-13. The Lumberjacks (18-6) visit Hermantown for their regular season finale Tuesday at 7pm. Denfeld (4-14) will close things out hosting Proctor also on Tuesday at 7pm.

Floodwood downed Northeast Range 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-13) to close out their regular season 17-4-1. The Nighthawks will close out their regular season Tuesday hosting Littlefork-Big Falls at 6pm.

Also Monday, East Central shut out McGregor 3-0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-15) earning their first win at home since October 2017.
